**I am a proud affiliate of Craftsy, so if you do click through the links in this post I may receive a small commission which I use to fuel my homeschool.
I have used Craftsy online classes personally since 2010 and refer to them often here on the blog because when we find something we really like, it is just natural to want to share it with our friends. We want others to experience what we have experienced or receive the same “good” that we have.
Since 2010, I have taken classes on Craftsy in the areas of gardening, cooking, sewing, crocheting, and many others. I think my favorite one is one I am still currently working on (making a holiday felt village), because the beauty of Craftsy classes is they NEVER expire. Nope. So it doesn’t matter that I purchased my felt village class some time ago, because the access to it is mine forever. And because it is online, I am able to learn and craft when it suits my schedule…when the kids are asleep, when I have a free hour on a weekend, etc.
And did I mention they have over 23 classes that are FREE? Yep. Free. And right now, they are having the Craftsy’s BIG Fall Course Sale! Which means every single class is being offered on sale; some up to 50% off! You get to learn from the world’s best instructors in the comfort of your home, and once you enroll you can watch your classes anytime, anywhere, forever.
Don’t have a lot of time to craft right now. They offer some awesome mini classes.
Here’s the full list of Craftsy free mini classes to choose from.
I’m headed over there now to see what else I would like to sign up for. I love that they have added more classes on jewelry making and international cooking, and homeschoolers…they offer classes you could TOTALLY put into your homeschool: drawing, fine art, painting, photography and more! (Did I mention they have a great canning and preserving class? That one was really good!)
And, the best part, if you learn something new now, you can give handmade gifts later (my favorite thing). Because when we make something with our hands, what we are really doing is giving from our heart.
